TRUGLO Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot Sight
Anyone using this sight? I have a plastic version from a couple years ago and like it fine but would like to upgrade to this all-metal design. My 870 shoots high and to the right so I need the fully adjustable sights. Are they worth the $45?

RE: TRUGLO Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot Sight
I just bought one this year and all I have done is sight the gun in, but so far I like it. I am a little worried that I might bump it or break it. Have you had any problems breaking the fiber optic sights?. Also I thought that the installation was very easy and secure.

Just a thought...
You can now purchase lower quality red-dot scopes for $30-50, depending on manufacturer and retailer. May want to take a look, especially if you already have fiber optics... |

Or a bushnell trophy red dot for $79. The Bass pro shops model is only $69.
I bought one for my son and liked it so much I purchased another one for my Turkey gun. |

What I now use is a Turkey Buster w/Ring O Fire: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...712&hasJS=true It really does the job! As YOU are well aware; Ten days & a Wakeup till the hammer falls on Tommy Three Toes! ![]() |

RE: TRUGLO Pro Series Magnum Gobble Dot Sight
ORIGINAL: Brokenbucket I use that sight and it's tough. No problems and easy to install w/Allen Wrenches supplied. Just set on rim where you want them and slowly tighten the screws to clamp sights to gun. Adjustable for windage and elevation. You'll see the sights before the birds are gobbling in the early morning light and your head must be on the stock to align the sights. YES... they're worth the price! You get what you pay for. |
