Good Luck guys. 've been looking at the TK2000 and the traditions Turkey Pro muzzleloaders. Maybe for next spring.

gobblerspur, did you have any problem with trying to put all that shot in the wad cup? I just checked to see how much #5 shot I could put in a knight cup, and it 's about 2.25 ounces. Let me know your reply!!

turkeyhunter1,

what make of shot did you use?. did you use different brand of shot.
i used 3 1/2 in. shot cup and knights #4 hot shot which is about 340 pellets.its tight and very close to 2 1/2 oz. i see some mix #4 and #6 shot together and had good results.i will try the # 5 knight hot shot and see what i can get in the shot wad.remember test results vary due to powder and shot manufacturer.did you have trouble finding knight products at local dealers. i had to order from knight for supplies.

Gobblerspur, I am shooting Knight #5 hot shot . I normally shot #4 shot, but the general concensus is that the #5 pattern's best. Now, I am shooting Triple 7 in FFFg form. It burns faster, plus it's easy to clean. You can get Knight products from BassPro. If not, try Cabela's. That's where I bought my Knight TK2000. It's cheaper going through these sources first. Knight will not under sell their dealers. Let me know if this helps!

Ps: Where do you hunt in western PA? I go to PA for the opening week!! I hunt not far from Bradford PA.

RE: knight tk2000 test results.

Tried my new knight 2000 out for the first time today. I only took 2 shots as I was all ready late to be where I had to go. I shot 100 grains pyrodex with a full 3 1/2 in. shot cup of No. 5s at 30 yards. I can only get about 280 #5s in a full level cup. Don't know the weight in ounces as I have no way to weight that at this time. Anyway, at 30 yards I put 206 pellets in a 18" circle with my first shot and 191 with my second shot. I satisfied.
