Here in Crawford County i still see big flocks the birds did allright thru the tough winter. I think there were more turkeys a few years ago. couple tough winters and a terrible spring last year.

I hear them early in the morning before sunrise when ever I go out and I'll stand there and I know they're out there waiting for me. ;);) So I know theyre waiting so on the 1st day I'll hit the woods and maybe I'll get some friends to help me also.

I've been listening to them for the last 2 weeks. I have located 12 different gobblers between allegheny, cambria, and blair county

I've heard 1 again this morning and the thing is they moved a bit. So I need to keep listening and its the best thing to do because I let them get shot.:D

While hunting in NJ yesterday, I heard quite a few on the PA side of the Delaware River. They seem to be all over the place this year.
