Welp,went to our annual NWTF banquet last night and donated graciously to the cause.:)Watched everyone around win somethin.:(But yes I know it was for a good cause and yes I'll be back next year!!!!:);)Sure had fun though!!

Sounds like you had a super time!! I missed ours this year for the first time in a great while. I just had other things going on that particular night!![&:]

Bob, I went to our chapter's Friday night, Well actually I got there at 10am and helped set up (got home at 130am). I did win an Ameristep Grizzly Lock on stand (now if i can figure out how to hunt turks from it[8D]) I also won a couple of calls and bought a couple of nice prints. It was a great time.

That happens to me every year. In fact, this year I spent WAAAAY to much money in there - A WHOLE lot more than I told my wife about and still scored a BIG 0.
I go slap crazy with all of that stuff- Our chapter was raffleing off something like 20 guns and so many prints that I said to myself - "Self, theres NO POSSIBLE Way you can walk out of here tonight empty handed. The chances are better on getting hit by lighting- Good thing I'm not a betting man to-
Funny thing to- I come home all depressed and my wife says ' I see you didnt win anything AGAIN. - Like I needed to be demoralized anymore then I was- If she didnt cook so freakin good I woulda run her off.

Yeap me too, I went last night and out of a couple hundred dollars worh of tickets I won a decoy, But we did have a great time, And can't wait until the next one LOL.

Hey,I'm glad I'm not alone.Over the years I've spent alot of $$$ at these functions and never won a thing.I always have a great time and the money is for a good cause so It's ok.But just once lol

The last two years I said that I wasnt going to go in there and blow a butt load of money, but it never fails I can say that all the way thru the parking lot and into the front door but once I make it thru that door, all bets are off- I even went so far as to "NOT" stop at the ATM for cash- But soon found out that they had the Credit Card machines up and running at the Banquet-
They got every angle covered for a poor sole with no Will Power!
