Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Killing a turkey in the fall is a little harder than spring hunting, and I don't even know if taking a particular bird is even possible. It would surely involve as much luck as skill. too bad you can't use a .17 cal, that might even the odds! As is, the technique we use in the fall is to try to call the whole flock in from the roost, then if they get suspicious before getting into gun range you bust em up by running straight at them, yelling and screaming. Sit down there and start listening for the lead hen and mimic every sound she makes. If you get lucky, your white hen may be one of the first to come back and you may get a shot at her. By the way, if all the turkeys run off in the same direction, your hunt is over for the time being.
