How long does your turkey hunt last on average? What time do you start and finish? Thanks

The start of my hunt depends on whether or not i have a bird roosted. if i roost the night before i will be in the field at 5 in the mornin. if not i will be there no later than 530. i dont stop hunting until time is up or i get a bird. so that is from 5 or 530 till 1 pm.

When I have all day I go in before sun up and hunt the first 2 or 3 hours. I'll usually take a break and I'll go back in around 10:30 and hunt until about 3. I kill most of my birds in the midday.

The hunt may only last a few hours or even minutes....but the memories will last a lifetime.

I have some of my best luck at this time,hunting presure seems to be less and Toms are on the prowl again as hens start to sit on their nests;)
