Some people may disagree but for me alot of hard cutting on like a tube cutter (the one cuz strickland luvs) or box will entice the ol' gobbler to sound off.

I agree 35. I've seen the timber wake-up more than once with a good dose of cuttin'.
You just got to be ready to set-up in hurry! Actually never let lose until you have your set-up already picked out.

Noone has any locator calls the rely on besides actual hen calling. What if the bird is not responsive to hen calling what do ya'll break out.

I agree with Jim a good chuckle on a goose flute works real well and so does a pilleted woodpecker call during midday hours!I will only use a hen call to locate if I know for sure I'm in a gobblers area in a already set-up position! One of the best times to use a hen call to locate is during these late morning & early afternoon times I've found for 2 reasons.1.hens are done feeding and instead of being wrapped up in filling there craw they now can focus on something else especially in early season#2.Early morning is when all the activity is happening and I dont mean turkey activity!Hunters are roaming the woods, setting up on roosted birds, calling, locating and in some cases harvesting.Hunters in an area if pressured enough can become as patternable to the turkey as they can be to us!Late morning early afternoon when hunters begin to get warm and frusterated not finding birds head to the waffle house letting the woods calm down and thats when things can happen!Ive killed birds on a # of occasions being patient enough to let the woods empty out to harvest a bird from noon to 4PM!Yes its a bummer for you fellas that have to out of the woods by noon or 1PM!![:'(]
