I just picked up a new benelli nova last night for turkey hunting. I was wondering what people have done to fix the annoying rattle of the forend.
Thanks.
I also bought a mad max turkey choke. Does anyone have a recommendation for what will pattern the best with this combination?
Thanks.

Had the same problem. Use a allen wrench on it don't make it to tight. You'll love the gun. If you can get a recoil reducer for it you'll love it more

i put the medium slip on recoil pad made by sims, that really helps when i am shooting 3.5in #5 hevi shot. also useing a bushnell trophy red dot scope. and a brily hevi choke tube. shooting perfect pattern at 30 yards. the recoil is a must. what a difference. remember this sims pad has to be a slip- on pad due to no screw holes for securing the pad.

I shoot a nova with a comp n choke tube and at 45 yards my pattern is about 16 " in diameter. I shoot a #5 Remington heavy shot 3.5 I have killed three turks with that gun and choke system You should be able to get the rattle in the fore arm out by using a allen wrench.
good luck
