Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

As far as the questin you are asking what you bring to the turkey woods? I have alot of calls i bring when season starts but your question says for the month of march. I bring my crow call, owl call, triple threat (coyote, peacock, and pileated woodpecker) and goose call. I make no turkey noises until the day of the opener so as far the calls in my vest for the month of march those are it!

Nothing is in my vest in March...

Season doesn't start til April. If there's anything in the vest it's from last year...strikers probably...probably gloves and a facemask, stuff I'll go buy again before season just because...

Default RE: For the month of March, what's in your turkey vest?

In March I don't wear my vest to the woods, but I carry a crow, owl, coyote and hawk locator calls, my GPS, cell phone, camcorder, aerial maps, beaded cushion and webbed seats, tp and snacky foods in my backpack as I scout.

And I'm NOT going to list all the stuff I carry in April, again, except to say I've added the breeding hen stake, purchased a few new (different) diaphragm calls (Pittman Lightning, K&H Hen IV #143, MADD high-frequencys), and got my wife a MOBU SuperElite II vest so she can carry some of the crap, too, over the winter. (And I am envious of her SE II, as it is much better put together and well thought out and designed than my old SuperElite.) Oh, and I guess I'll be carrying a new Mossberg 935 12 gauge turkey gun!!
