Aiming point Question????
Where do you all aim on the turkey. I have always aimed on the neck right below the head but on the new Mossy Oak Turkey school video I was watching they were telling a young hunter to aim at the very bottom of the neck at what seemed like the top of the breast feathers. What is everybody elses opinion on this???

RE: Aiming point Question????
They might have said that because they were young and they could not control the recoil as well. JMO

RE: Aiming point Question????
I make the little head disapear behind the Barrel. When they are close I center it on their head. Let the shot String work the rest.

base for the neck

RE: Aiming point Question????
Lower part of the neck, just above where the feathers start, on fairly close shots. On longer shots I will aim where the head joins the neck to allow for a little bit of gravity on the pellets.

RE: Aiming point Question????
I use three different guns and all pattern a little different. One I hold just under the head where feathers stop..one I hold dead on the head and one I hold about 8" below the head.
