I only have to go about 4-5 miles. Takes me about 10 minutes and I'm there!:)

shortest drive is about 10 minutes (live in a rural area) longest drive about 40 minutes to my buddies place. although when i lived in Chicago it was more like 4-5 hours. much better now, gas expenses have been cut in half this year.

Either 1.25 hours north or .75 hours south. The south hunting spot is between housing developments and a nuclear power plant and will not be huntable in a few years. I lost about 300 acres last year. Most of it was public huntable land, but nobody hunted it but me and my buddies.

3.5 hours to where I stay and hunt em. I can just walk out the door in the morning to hunt though.

About 1.5 hrs. Not many birds here by the house. I do have a state park that has some but the hunting pressure is out the roof so I head south and east.

The shortest distance I go from my house is about a mile, I live in a small town. The furthest I travel from my house is less than ten miles.

When this question was asked on the bowhunting forum, I was surprised to see many of the guys answer around 2 hours.

I felt very fortunate.

Here, it's the other way around. I travel nearly 4 hours to get to where I hunt . . . and even then I was driving an additional 30 miles each morning to get to a private farm I hunted.

This year, I'll still have to drive way out to the area, but the farmer told me I could stay at his house! At least I'll walk out the door and be hunting.

'bout 20 min to the camp from my house, then it depends on what part of the property i'm hunting on from there.(i hunt 20,000 acres)

I hunt a quiet a few places around where I live throughout the spring but to my regular hunting ground is about 3 1/2 hrs. To land owned by my uncle.

374 miles from door to door to N.Y.,for deer and small game,about 6 1/2 hrs

To hunt deer in Jersey,gotta to travel 55 minutes,to my grounds.

I have 2 places to hunt..one is about 30 min and the other is 45... Man i thought i had it bad having to get up to drive that far...., i guess i shouldnt complain :)

Fortunatly...I live twenty minutes any direction for hunting turkey and big game..cool huh? Now I just have to use it to the most and find some time!

I can hunt deer, turkey, bear, cougar on my place...but I still seem's to travel to other good spot's....anywhere from 1/2-1 hr's from here....for Elk...It's about 7-8 hour drive....we do have elk around here...but it's spike only....where I hunt...it's 3pt. or better. Duck's and Geese...about 3 1/2 hr's from here
