RE: blodgett turkey calls
I have Both the Glass and the aluminum, Either one is hard to beat for sound. I would say they are right up there with the best of the best.

RE: blodgett turkey calls
I have both their glass and slate. Must say that they both sound great to me.Really like the glass as it is loud and raspy.

RE: blodgett turkey calls
I have both the slate and glass and love them both! His strikers aren't too shabby either.
The Blodgett's are some of the most versatile friction calls you'll ever find, they are as loud as any call I've ever run, yet can be toned down to sweet-talk a gobbler right into your lap. Definitely some of my favorites. You meantioned calling contests. They're definitely worthy of the contest stage, I won a local contest 2 years ago with my Tough Country (slate). Good luck, Tyler |
RE: blodgett turkey calls
Didn't he win a national title last year?

I bought mine years ago before Henery he went comercial. I love mine. I'm sure his production calls sound great also.

RE: blodgett turkey calls
I agree with the rest. I have the tough country, double trouble and his signature calls. DVDEGEORGE is also right, you should check out their mouth calls. I use the awesome and like the name implies, it is awesome!!!! They have some with cuts you haven't seen. His signature calls are even better than the tough country and double trouble if you can get one and by far the best I've heard. I have cody's 2 high end calls, the world class and Spec and they sound good but not as good as the signature calls. And yes he won the nationals, last year I think. Jim pollard won it using there calls.
