You should be very pleased with the spitfire gobbler getters, my buddy used them the last couple years with some good success. Every bird he hit he got.

Whoaaa, That Gobbler Gullotine is insane!!!!!!!!
I'm assuming the blades are fully extended the entire time right?? No way of closing them? |
RE: Turkeys, Broadheads or Mechanical
My only question is the blades don't fold up, so do you really think you are going to get it to fly at 20 yards! I also saw them at the show, and I don't see how, with that blade sticking out how you are going to keep it from planing like ten times worse than a fixed blade broadhead. Also, there is no practice blade to even try to see where you are hitting in relation to your field points. If you shoot one of them chances are you are going to break one or more of the blades, if you watched the video of where he shot the turkey, he broke one of his blades! Hope they work, but, I think you are going to be dissapointed.

RE: Turkeys, Broadheads or Mechanical
I'll be using Rocket Sledgehammer's (150 gr.) w/a
3 1/2" cut and my BT Patriot set at 67 lbs. when hunting from my DB blind. ...and I'll be shooting NAP Spitfires (100 gr) w/a 1 1/2" cut, from my FX set at 55 lbs when hunting on the go. Both, are excellent turkey BH's[:-]. I'm considering giving the Wasp Jak-Hammers a try, heard some good things about them also. |
