this year? my first one will be with my Win 1300, then I;m bringin out my MQ1.:D

I plan on gettng one or two with the 1300. Then when the turkeys get a little more in the mood to breed, I will call them in closer and put an arrow in em. I have found some excellent spots during the fall and i am looking forward to seeing how they play out. BB

A tip of the camo hat to anyone who hunt's turkey with a bow.Not only does it take above average turkey huntin skills to bring it in close enough but it also takes some mighty fine archery skills.Them vitals on a turkey just ain't that big.Good Luck guys:)

I'm going to take my bow to WV with me. Not sure how many days I'll take it out but I'll have it just in case the urge hits me and if the turkeys are cooperating. Hunt with the bow more in the fall because our state regulations, bow only in the fall.

I have a hard enough time getting them in close enough w/ a shotgun, much less even thinking of drawing a bow on them would spook them!

I think i will take my first turkey with my modle 1200 Winchester. Then I will try for one with my Buckmaster's bow.:D:D;)

I'm gonna see if I can bag a couple of them this year with my PSE bow, Doghouse blind and decoys. I'm lucky enough to live near an area that holds a couple hundred birds. Should be alot of fun.

I just got my Rem Super Mag a couple of years ago and have only taken two turkeys with it so far.
Thats about $290.00 per bird :D[:o][X(] I will be packing it opening morning for sure.
But, I think this year I will take my new Liberty and try it a few times too.

Been deer, moose and bear hunting with bow only for the last 3 years so why change it for turkey. I will try the bow on them too. However I have been sighting in my shotgun just in case as this will be my virgin year as a turkey hunter. Also got a muzzleloader for christmas and am starting to like that big bang again of course this one is followed by large cloud of smoke.

I have been kicking around the idea of going after gobblers with the bow. I was thinking of setting up my old PSE exclusively for Turkeys. I haven't made up my mind yet. I wanted to hunt them with a smoke pole this year but I can't find a gun I like.

I will be headed into the turkey woods with my bow again for I think about 15 yrs now!
I love it!!!!!! I think I truly enjoy turkey huntin more than even huntin whitetails and I like hunting deer ALOT!

I've managed to stick two turkeys with my bow from my climbing stand, missed a huge gobbler last spring with bow from my home made blind.

ironic ain't it, i can kill em in the wide open, but miss em when totally concealed.[&o]

I tried it last year. I know I will sometime in the future too but for this year I'm taking my gun.

I'll be using my 870 here in RI for my 1 bird bag limit. If I get an out of state license, I just may break out the BowTech after I harvest 1 or 2...
