How many use a gobble call?
 

Just curious as to how many people use one. I realize the dangers of someone "stalking" your gobble.

I have one and can occasionally get one to gobble but have never called one in with it.

I use one on occassion with pretty good success- Although I dont just run around shaking that thing everywhere I go-
I did have some guys come in on me after I had gobbled with it a few times once and it scared the u know what out a me , so I'm careful as to when I use and what the circumstances are. They can be used with the fighting Purr and works extremely well when done in that manner with birds that get tight lipped from pressure- Almost every bird I've taken with the gobble call and fighting purr have either come in running and gobbling like a bat out a hell or came slipping in to just take a look, either way they got a face full of Hevishot-

I use mine occasionally but have never really had much luck with it. I always hunt on private land and know where everyone is so I dont have to worry about other people....or at least I shouldn't have to.

I've had great success with a shaker tube!For years I carried a Red Wolfe and over about the last 4 years have switched to Primos's gobbler tube and have credited it to changing a few hunts around for the better!I use this call mainly on grouped up birds either on bachelor gobblers or flocked up birds!One on one situations I dont use it,simply because I haven't had it work in that particular situation!;)

I just bought one today. I got the Primos "The Gobbler" shaker call. I bought one from HS Strut last year, but didn't like the performance of it. I will be using one this year on a boss tom that needs to be challenged. Hope to post some pics on how it goes.:)
