New gun suggestions

I'm wanting to buy a new semi auto this year for turkey season. I have a 835 and a 11-87 already, but want something light. I've heard that the benellis have been having problems plus they are pretty expensive. I looked at the new Mossberg 935 today, but I'm also thinking about a Franchi. Does anyone have any suggestions on what gun to get.

I have a Franchi 912 and love it. However, the Franchi is made by Benelli. I, myself, have not heard of any problems at Benelli.

N E Way...Franchi 912, great gun, great price, and fun to shoot.

Let's see over the years I have owned Remington autos, Browning autos, Benelli, and Beretta. All good in their own right. No real problems with any of them. But if I could only pick one for the rest of my life the choice wouldn't be that hard. FOR ME the Beretta is better balanced and a better fit. Therefore it shoots like a dream for me and has always been reliable. More expensive, yes, but worth every dime in my book.

Hey Ken....I was just like you a few months ago. I wanted a semi auto but didn't know which one to get. I dont have a ton of money to spend either. I have decided on the Franchi 912. I really studied it out and all I have heard about them is that they are great guns. I should be getting mine sometime at the begining of march. Good luck with whatever you choose.

Just saw my first CZ, sweet looking gun, I don't think they come in a 3 1/2" yet but they look nice, and not terribly expensive either.

I have a Franchi 48 in 20 gauge that I bird hunt with. I would like a Benelli, but I just don't think they are worth the price difference when compared to a Franchi. I'm going to go to the gun show tommorow and check out what they have there. I plan on using this gun only for turkeys, so I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I need another turkey gun.

How does the 935 shoot? I looked at one the other day and thought it was a good deal for the money. I'm just wondering how it shoots.
