RE: best choke for a 20 gauge
i have an full choke in it right now, but i've never used it for tukeys, this is my first year hunting them. I'd like to get a choke even smaller than a full for turkys tho, cos the 20 gauge doesnt have as much power as a 12.

RE: best choke for a 20 gauge
I know several guys who have had excellent results with the Hasting tube in their 20 gauge guns. My daughters 870 youth 20 gauge gets very good results with the Hastings .566 ext. turkey tube.

My first year I hunted with a Mossberg 500 20ga with a full choke. I shot at a Tom at 30 yards. It was the first bird I shot at and I wounded it[:'(]. It ran off but wasn't able to fly. Hope it was alright. I think they can be killed with that I just may not have aimed well enough.

I shoot a mossberg 500 20 gauge, and have seen several chokes made specifiacly for turky hunting in cabelas and other places. I'm wondering what the best turky choke to use for my gun would be?
