predator calls for locating birds

I have a predator call that imitates the sound of a dying rabbit, and have been told that it would work good as a locator call. has anyone used one or knows if they work to find toms?

all replies are welcome.

I don't know of any one predator call that works better than a howler! Especially if used before or after the sun is up!

My buddy and I were tagged out in the Black Hills last year and had a few days left. We decided to try and call up a yote with an electronic caller. It had one button called the screamin chicken or something like that.:DFunny but it worked.Man, we had a group of birds going nuts everytime we tried it. I think any type of call can get you a shock gobble if used at the right time. I carry my goose call with me when other locators fail.
