I was wondering if anybody has any experience with or can provide some feedback on Primo's "Stacked" Frame Calls such as the True Double or Deadly Double and such. I've never owned a stacked diaphragm call but they look interesting. I like the idea of the reeds not sticking together. I thought if I got some good feedback on these calls, I might add one to my next Midwest order!
Thanks in advance!

Try at least one. I like the True Double. It's my personal favorite. I don't notice the extra thickness but I've never had a problem gagging on mouth calls anyway.
Try one, you won't regret it.

The true double has a nice sound. The only setback to the stacked frame calls is their thickness. If you can overcome that I think you'll really like the call.I know the turkey do.

They take a little getting use to, but they are really easy to work with once you get use to the positioning. I like the fact that I can pull them out and start calling right away. I've had problems with other calls sticking together and taking a while to get moist enough to seperate. I used the Deadly Double last year most of the time, but I also like the palate plate series like the Raspy Double Hook. What can I say, I'm from Jackson, MS. I gotta stick with Will and the boys. They make great calls.
