Default red dot scope or regular scope

i been using fiber optics and open sights for years and now i have two scopes.
i have a red dot and a simmons turkey scope.which one be a better choice.
i am favoring the simmons, but also like the red dot. any help

I would recommend the Simmons scope. I have used them (Bushnell) exclusively for 4 seasons now with great success. I always worry about mechanical failure from the red-dot.
