calling contests

i wondered if they have or make a video tape or instructional tape on calling contests. this would give you an idea what to expect or what going on in a calling contest. this year i want to get in some calling contests.

Not that I know of. I would recommend going and watching a couple then practice. You want to do all the calls clean and in rythem. When you have them all down , practice some more. Contest calling is different from hunting. mistakes in a call make you slide in score. This is something I've done for years and I call in both Canada and the US. It can be frustrating at times...BT
