I need (want) fiber optic sights for my shotgun since spring will be here soon. Any recommendations?

RE: Sights
Well Pa, I just put a scope on my shotgun and that seems to work really well. I know a lot of people that like truglo.;)

RE: Sights
Truglo makes a great sight called the Magnum Gobble Dot I have it and love it but I wish I would have gotten the Magnum Gobble Dot Pro, the main difference besides price is that it has an adjustable rear sight ramp as oppossed to the fixed on on the Magnum Gobble Dot. But both are well worth every cent you pay for them.

Another vote for Tru-Glo.

RE: Sights
I'm a William's Fire Sights fan myself. All metal construction, adjustable for windage and elevation, secures to your rib through a metal clamp on both sides of the sight, very sturdy. I really like that the fiber optic is imbedded into the metal on the rear sight. I got mine at a really good price at.... http://www.natchezss.com

RE: Sights
Hi PAhunter86,
I have a Williams peep rear with a fiber optic front mounted on a Marlin 1894 .44 Magnum. It works great in heavy cover and low light. I know you want it for a shotgun....but I don't know why it wouldn't work as well mounted on a shotgun. Just sight it for the center of the pattern! (As a matter of fact I'm thinking of having my rifled slug barrel so equipped!) Good luck! |
RE: Sights
Dang guys,I gotta get with the times.I still use the plain old bead at the end of the barrel.

Hey jalvja,
When I got so old my bank account was better than my eye sight.....I quit using the plain old bead.:D |
