Winchester chokes

I have a winchester model 1300 ranger. My full choke shoots a lot tighter pattern than the turkey choke when I use turkey loads. Anyone else noticed this?
Not just with winchester but any model?

RE: Winchester chokes

I have a 1300 myself and the factory chokes can't hold a candle to a custom choke tube. If you want to double your hits in the kill zone, get a Hastings Extended Turkey choke sized .665 for $24.95. For the money, that choke worked much better than the factory tube. For $49.95 and a much tighter pattern than the Hastings, the Tru-Glo Strut Stopper .665 along with Winchester 3" HV 1 3/4oz of #5's were a dandy combo out of my gun. Now for the ultimate choke and load, try the Rhino tube .660 for $80.00 along with the Nitro Hevishot turkey loads #H378. This is the finest pattern to date that my gun has shot.
I can now rest in my quest for the Ultimate choke/load/pattern.

I believe I will try this combo. Thanks for the info.
