tn, When useing a mouth call the sound from your mouth when almost closed sounds better then opened up alot. I'm thinking they are talking (almost) togeather. Keep in mind when a Wild Turkey Hen is calling the sound chamber is a small opening....BT

When I use a mouth call my tongue usually spreads out to go between my teeth just a slight amount ... so, no. My teeth are not together; they bite down on my tongue a little though.

I would say my mouth is mostly closed. There are times when I will open it a little more to get a different sound.
