Rhino Choke

I'm looking for a Rhino Choke to use with Hevi-Shot, The Nitro Company offers them for 80.00, I have found some Rhino's, on the net for less than 50.00 but not sure which one works best with the Hevi-Shot, I know some of you guys probably shoot the Rhino with Hevi-Shot. The one I have found is a .680 ported choke, is this the one Nitro recommends? Where else might a fellar find the Rhino chokes on the net?

strut,i shoot 3.5x4s hevishot using a rem xfull and a stardot and both pattern out to 60 yds.i am having a 28" barrel on a browning 500g cut down to 22"and carlson's chokes is installing a .670 truchoke on the barrel.they say that the .670 is best for #4 shot.i have seen the rhino chokes in cabellas and redhead catalogs.

Thanks Loner, I'm shooting a Rem Ventilator now at .655, I think I would get a little better pattern if I opened it up just a bit with the Hevi-Shot, It does a pretty good job but you know us turkey hunters are always looking for something alittle tighter,LOL.

My combo is the .660 Tappered Percision Choke a custom choke I had done with the Winceshter #5 2 oz loads. I tried the Remington HV 1 5/8 #5 with the .670 and could not get it to group aswell. I believe there is some trile and arrer with it all...BT

PS. I do beleive Maytom shots the Rino with HV shot.......

Yeah I e-mailed Maytom and he has given me some helpful info. I know he gets a great pattern out of his Rhino choke shooting the Hevi-Shot.

Randy, yep Nitro company suggest to use the .660 Rhino choke out of my Winchester 1300 while using their #H378 3" 1 7/8oz Hevishot loads. Made a believer out of me.;)

Yeah I knew you were really pleased Paul, Is the choke Nitro sells a ported choke? I know on their website they call it a custom Rhino and just wondering if there is a difference in theirs and the rest or maybe they do something to the ones they sell, I know they want 80.00 bucks out of the ones they sell, I hope I can find one a little cheaper.

Randy, I bought my Rhino choke from Nitro and it cost me that much money as well. It is a ported choke.
