Last Week I was at a friends house,and saw turkeys in the field,Well he feeds the group of toms next to the screen door,So THe Toms Came up and we got a crazy idea to, My Friend Got the corn and made a trail of corn into the house, And Carefully openend The screen door, THen we sat next to the door and carfully watched,and one tom poke his head in and ate looked right at me 1 foot away kept eating then he came all the way in so i hurryed and shut the door,:D
SO the toms gets alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll WILD! he' s running around the house and hitting walls, THEN FLYS! Here is a tom flying around the house well trying.
THen I grab for his beard to stop him and he falls, my friend was trying to tackle him well he tackled it and it was kicking a fuss, i said get a bang to put on his head,
Well he couldnt find one and the turkeys is pissed his face is soooooo Red and He freed himself then hes running again tiped all kinds of knick knacks never broke non then my stupid friend grab a turkey call and yelped the toms stoped[:-] Dumb thing, then i tackled him and grabs his legs then he flapped his wing wel, my friend opend the door but he freed himself once more well the stupid bird couldnt find the door and went in the porch and busted a window, and left the room went to my friends room and broke that window, THEN[:@] Went to the porch again! and
broke the other window all the way, and he got outside and was running across the field with a screen stuck to his neck just a running. lmao.It was funnyer then hell, It costed 76 bux for the 3 windows.No one got in trouble but it was so funny:D:D:D:D Almost had Turkey on the plate with out shooting but it was funny and ill never forget that day and well my friend well he' s gona remember to,OH YEAH, and we got the beard from him, When i was holding him he tried to get away and got his beard, 9 inches almost 10 inches, But thats what we did that day and kinda dumb at that. DAAAAAAANG Imao Where do you hunt turkey at ? I never have but am thinking about it next year are they kinda hard to hutn? do you have to go all camo? and im sure i' ll have to learn to use a call. But it sounds like a challenge>> hope to hear back..

Sounds like you guys have a lot of tame birds around your place. You might want to leave them alone and go after some WILD TURKEYS[:o]

Man does that story bring back memories. When I was 5(Very long time ago)we had a big tom outside our bedroom window on the porch roof. I opened the window and my brother grabbed some of my mom's homemade whole wheat breead and we laid a trail of crumbs.

To our surprise the the tom stepped inside the window and I slammed the window shut. Man did all heck break loose then(but nothing compared to your bird).

Worst part was my mom wouldn't let us keep him.

Hold that against her to this very day, ;)
