Mouth call storage & retirement??

I' m still beginning and doing lots of practicing (when my wife isn' t around :D or she' d throw me out of the house [:@])!!!!

I know people here have answered something like this before, but when you store your mouth calls in Scope, do you cover them completely, put a paper towel in bottom of the snuff can and wet it with Scope, or what??

Also how do you know when the call' s diaphragm is wrinkled too much and needs to be replaced??[X(] Or how do you know when to replace the call in general??

Only give your mouth calls about 15 minutes in Scope and then rinse them under clean water WELL. Take and towel dry them, and let them sit till they are completely dry. Store them in a closed container in a cool dry place out of direct light. Refrigerator crisper is a great spot till the next time...BT

The best way to tell when a call is worn out is when they don' t sound good anymore.

I agree with everyone so far. The only thing I do different is place flat toothpicks between the reeds, seems to keep them seperated better, then put them in the fridge. And the vegetable crisper I have found is the best place.
