Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

And yet another!

Default And yet another!

Retirement has been good.
I purchased a Savage 410 single shot to be topped with a Vortex Crossfire Red Dot.
Added TSS Turkey choke. So ah patterning I'll go. Soon!

I'll post results.

FWIW.
I do use a Taurus 45/410 custom choked with 9.5 TSS with excellent results. ONLY WHERE LEGAL.
It is a lethal 25 yd handgun.

Thanks
I've taken a few toms with a Taurus Judge 45/410 and 9.5 TSS 3 inch round in Michigan. Deadly combo.

Always read the literature with your components.
The Sparc Vortex red dot does have a solar panel to help charge the battery.
The unit once set, will turn on " automatically" once it is picked up or moved. That's a great feature. No fumbling with an "On" button. Does have automatic shutdown.
Con:
Runs on a battery. I had better put an extra in my turkey vest.

My grandson shot 2 Toms with this setup and today, well I pushed to the Max

I'm all about calling them close. I ranged incorrectly but this nice setup did not fail me.
51 yds. Apex TSS,

Down and no flop.
inch and 1 1/8 and 1 1/16 spurs
10 inch beard
19.6 lbs.

It was a limb hanger!
