Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Last Day of Wisconsin Fall Season Jan 8!

And I roosted well over 100 birds tonight!
3 distinct bachelor flocks of toms.
I'm setup in a wide open field the birds have been feeding in for the last 3 days

One spot after I got out there there is no snow and 3 of those monster toms lime rhat area.

I just need to be there before them.

So. Let rhe fun begin tomorrow.

Wish uploading pictures was easier. I witnessed the WWE Royale Rumble of 26 toms, all 2 yr olds or better fight it out. I lived and watched all events of Lovett Williams real turkey voice cds. Those big flocks of hens did the same. Constant tom yelping eith a smattering of hen yelping. And fighting purrs. Wow!
I did miss a tom at 39 yds which was purely my fault. I aimed wrong and dud jerk rhe firearm. Good news. Clean miss. Better news my new tungsten shoulder joint still works. I survived the recoil.
I was worried!

Better news. I got permission for this spring and know of 3 areas to sit and wait.

I spent 9 hrs and never napped once. It was none stop turkey adventures.

That was the latest I have ever turkey hunted.

How ya doing JW? Hope things are well. That sounds like a blast. I don’t post much anymore but I still stop by to see how things are. I do miss the turkey contest we had.
