your link did not open. I fixed it.

Second
Well i certainly don't want that. And seriuosly think it will not pass.
Why?
The state is split into 7 zones for the 6 week season. Each one has a permit allotment for EACH of rhe 6 week season.
When you have 10,000 tags fo just 1 of the 6 seasons selling at a Wisconsin resident price of $10.00 each, the government is shooting them self in their foot.
Thats alot of money.
A Non-res tag is only $15
Zone 1 has 10,000 to 12,000 kill taks for each of the 6 seasons alone!

Thirdly. Each permit , license, kill tag, park permit, or application any state sells to the public the state gets Pittman- Robertson Act funds back from the feds!
So if they do. They are throwing away millions of dollars!
I say No.

Well it looks like bill 610 will go forward. I dont see how it changes anything.
To me it eill create overcrowding the 1st 2 weeks. And weeks 3 and 4 if the state keeps the 6 seasons. But the proposal is for a general with a first half or last half. It will mean loss of revenue to the state.

Another fine bullcrap mess with our congressman and senators patting each other on the back that they should exist!

Ya listening to some other Wisconsin Turkey hunters I got the impression it was a done deal . They were less than impressed also. I would think that someone in the Wisconsin hunting community must have asked for changes unless one of the politicians pushing it is a turkey hunter .

this stuff and several other proposals for hunting and fishing changes were all in one bill brought to several state politicians by the Hunter Nation group. None of the changes in the bill were very well thought out. Check out Wisconsin Outdoor News . there is an article about this.

Seems there have been a few changes this year. Oklahoma has dropped the limit down to 1 bird and pushed the season starting 2 weeks later than normal.
