Default Kansas Turkey Hunting

heading to Byron Walker Wildlife Area area in Kansas. Any pros, cons, or tips for a dude heading solo from Alabama to find a Rio? Thx!!

I went north of where you mention a few years back and saw everything but a Rio. There were birds on the walk-in-areas I hunted but probably twice the amount of hunters as well. I went to S. Texas after that trip so there would be no doubt if it was a Rio when I pulled the trigger.
