2019 Turkey pics and stories.

We had some crazy weather during Ohios January muzzleloader season. Including a large thunderstorm. Also a tornado about ten miles away.
Three gobblers were gobbling their head off with every boom of thunder. Went on for about a half hour.
Really got me excited and fired up for the spring season.
Looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories and hopefully adding some myself.

Looks like it may be a good year for me. I've been watching eight longbeards on my property in Louisiana for a while now. They were strutting for some hens this morning. Lots of birds where I hunt in Arkansas too. I'm not too worried about Texas. There should be plenty of birds there. I'm really getting fired up.

Bird down in Florida. 18.1 lbs, 1” and 1 1/8” spurs, 7 7/8” beard. Set up where we have heard birds gobble: was a quite morning nothing gobbling from the roost. My gobbler slipped in at 11:00 with 2 jakes.
This is my 1st bird with the 20 gauge and tss.
I will add a pic when I figure out how.

Thanks. It snuck in to about 4 yds, behind me and to the left. ( 7 oclock) he saw something he did not like and putted and was about to leave. The shot was only about 7 yds.
yep, Osceola.
loving the 20 gauge. It is a joy to carry and shoot. Wish I would have known about it 10 years ago, I would have switched sooner.
thanks again, and I am looking forward to seeing and hearing about some others turkey hunts.
