WOW!!! Those are incrdible shots! Thats an awesome bird, a true limb-hanger. I've only been that close to a longbeard once. The day I killed my first spring bird, 4 gobblers came in silent, a mature bird and 3 jakes. The big guy appeared right beside me from behind a tree, him and his buddies got nervous and walked off. I swiveled around and shot the first gobbler that appeared, it turned out to be one of his stubby-bearded apprentices. Oh well, I was hooked for life, and my Dad killed the big boy a few days later from the same tree.
