It's early 2017, and winter is 2wks old. What season comes after that? The season when camo-clad hopefuls tromp through the woods tangling wits with loved & hated Thunder Chickens.

What's the first thing you are going to get ready?
Me-I have some new boots that need a few trail miles under them.

I'm going to try and lighten up my vest. I carry too much stuff.

I am ready. Deer season is over. I am in full search mode for a place to hunt this year. Lost lease here in Florida so maybe a trip to the Midwest

Definitely ready. Drew some decent hunts here in Florida and I'm looking forward to scouting.

Chomping at the bit! I am finishing up the European mount of the 8 point I got this year. Got real lucky last year and tagged out and feeling optimistic about this year. will be ordering new mouth calls soon and going crazy until opening day. I have really enjoyed the turkey hunting contest in the past years and hope that it will be conducted this year.
