Default 20 gauge Long Beard XR's!!!!

I just saw that Winchester just introduced the 20ga LongBeard XR's. I cant wait to get my hands on a few boxes to play with. I have shot the 12ga since they have came out in the 2-3/4" and 3" with amazing results. Now I am going to play with the 20ga. I want to take 1 with my 20 and HAD a load settled on to work with till now. We shall see!!!!

I guess I am one of the old school guys sticking with the 12 gauge. Don't see the need to go down in shell size or capacity trying for the biggest game bird we have. A 3" magnum will always get the job done just fine and with a lot less recoil than the 3 1/2" versions as well.

Would be nice it they made tem in 2 3/4" for the 20. My wife's gun only chambers them.

I found nothing either. I borrowed a 12 gauge Benelli from a friend for the 2015 season and they are devastating with the 3" ones I bought. My old Model 1200 has a 2 3/4" chamber and they don't make them for that size chamber in a 12 gauge, contrary to what SS stated, so I use their XX in that gun and they are great too.

I have a sub-gauge (LC smith SXS), but I use it for smaller stuff.

Yes they do. They are called Winchester Rooster XR. Same shot Lok-Technology. 2-3/4" in 4's, 5's and 6's. I have shot them at some of our gun clubs "Annie Oakley" shoots and they are beyond impressive!!!!! Looks like it was buffered with flour!!!!!!! Leaves a white "fluff" cloud when they go off!!!

The press release from Winchester about the long beard 20ga shells can be read over on Clarks website. Allaboutshooting.com. Very interesting.
