My first one

Congrats on your first bird.
|
For your next fan, pin it so the sides down so the fan is closer to a half circle in shape while it dries/cures.
|
Also grooming those feathers so they are no gaps in the veins of the feathers will make the mount look a lot better. You can do it now by gently pinching the feathers below the gaps and stroking upward so the barbules of the feathers catch and close the opening.

Funny thing is. My first turkey fan mount looks just like yours you'll break the code on em... Congrats on your first
|
awesome... like said above, groom out the feathers and you will have a nice full display.
congrats |
First of all Congratulations on your first Turkey!!
I like the mount pretty good but, would like to know if the fan can easily be removed? As I only have fans dried out and will put them up that way. I like to take a fan and put it in my decoy when hunting for turkeys. I have some nice white ash that I am planning on making some mount holders with. So I am just asking questions right now.. I do like the looks of yours though.. |
