I have not done it or don't plan on trying it but has anyone used this method of hunting turkeys. YouTube has many videos of people doing it and looks like it work.

Anyone who puts a turkey fan in front of their face and crawls around trying to sneak up on a turkey has a death wish. There are easier and less painful ways to kill yorself if you are determined to do so. In PA it is illegal to stalk turkey in the spring, hunting by calling only, make the turkey come to you. Still most years a couple of hunters still shoot someone they swear was a turkey. Just think about it, is killing a turkey worth getting shot in the face or anywhere in your body with the powerful shotshells we have today This is is the equivilent to wearing a buck suit on the first day of deer season. Killing a turkey is not worth being blinded by a shot to the face or being crippled for life, or dead. I am sure no ones family would think it is worth it. I have also seen a fan mounted on a shotgun with an opening to sight through, every bit a bad an idea of using a fan to sneak birds.

While this may work - according to You tube it does - is it ethical? Let alone I need to agree this is dangerous!
When I saw the Scoot N Shoot come out on the market I wondered how much funding that company has because someone will get hurt and then sue stating they should have been warned! I wonder how much the 'use literature' that is with that package can protect that company!
And we just added a new color not to wear in the turkey woods! Brown!
So now it is Red, White, Blue and Brown!

No way, no how! Even though it works it's a ridiculous risk just like Oldtimr stated. Here in MI we can't even have a string attached to a decoy to make it move like it's real and wind is the only thing allowed to move it, so anyone doing that up here will definitely be violating the law!
