I think I need help
 

Turkey season is still over 4 months away and that's all I am thinking about. Last night, as I am walking into the bedroom, I look at the pillow cases, they have these flowery leaf designs that from afar, look like Turkey tracks. I mentioned it to my wife and she just shook her head.

I guess it's time to buy some new calls or videos or something....

Waiting till spring.

Friend of mine has wild strain easterns in a pen out at his timber we were out there last week end and got to playing with some of the calls we had in our trucks and the three gobblers he had would gobble and go to struttin like mad when we teased em with the calls i can't wait either

I feel the fever for the flavor!!! Pops I can sympathize with you. Sounds to me like you need something to occupy your time! LOL I got that same itch last week. I've got venison in the freezer and somehow have lost interest in deer for this year. Its just a light tickle now, but by March it will be a full-blown case of hives! My wife already thinks I'm nuts trying to develop a natural voice call. (it's getting lonely spending all my time in the garage already!) Year before last, I spent my time making a couple of wingbone calls and last year I collected raw pine rosin while scouting and boiled it down for my boxcalls. This year I think I'll try my hand at making a call out of a turtle shell and then maybe a boxcall or 2! Dang it! Now I have to scratch again! Hate it when that happens.....grumble....grumble...walking away now...scratch, scratch...aahhhh...

im with you guys went scouting today i wanted to see turks!!!! we drove by this one feild and i yelled to my dad Hey Look Turkeys!!! i jumped out of the truck took the ole binocs and saw that it was a clump of weeds in a corn feild! man did i feel embbarised!! <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
