Turkey Choke constriction question...

I am thinking about giving the Hevi13 shells a try this spring in #7 shot. I have never used shot that small before through a turkey gun, what constriction do you think works best? I like the idea of better pattern density, and still being able to drop birds out to 40 yards.

What gun are you shooting? For Rem 870 go with a .660 Jellyhead. I think on #7 shot I would like tighter constriction. I tried the Hevi13 #7 out of my SBE II with a .660 Jellyhead. It was okay but I still prefer the MagBlend or Nitro 4x5x7.

I've thought about trying a Pure Gold choke but I'm just not crazy about changing my setup.

Winchester 1300, NWTF model with the laminated stocks. The only Turkey Choke I have at the moment is an older model .660" Jellyhead. I was going to give it a try first and go from there.

I was thinking about picking up a Carlson's .640" due to the small shot size, but I wasn't sure if that would be too far in the opposite direction.

The problem with patterning the Hevi13 shells are the outrageous price tag.

Let me study on it. My brother shot 7's a couple years ago and found that they shot best out of a Winchester SuperX3 with a .675 or .670 if I remember right.

He trades guns so much and changes his setup so much that I can't keep up. I'm starting to think that less constriction worked best on the 7's.
