Preferred shot placement?
I was wondering what is everyones preferred shot placement, body or neck/head decapitation. I am going to try neck shots this year, I have the 100 grain magnus bullheads. I shot one into my foam target and its stuck inside of it. When the target is shot beyond use I'm going to have to cut it out. It had like 6 or 7in drop from the bullseye so I'm probably going to sight in my 50yd pin to shoot accurately at 20yds with the bullheads. That way if the turkeys are within a close distance I can go for the neck shot but still be able to shoot my normal broad heads for body shots at longer distances. What are your preferences?

I don't bow hunt for turkeys anymore, although I did kill one with a crossbow last spring. I always aimed for the spine, my rationale being that if I hit the spine, the bird could not use its legs, and could not therefore, fly. I killed several turkeys that way. The decapitation method is intriguing, and I considered trying that, but never did.

Where the neck meets the body.

hold on the wing butt, (basicaly the elbow of the wing) there you get spine, lungs, and keep the dang thing from flying off wounded.
