Hunting turkeys in Colorado..... We have lots and the populations are ever growing. This year even more areas have opened up to over the counter license holders then ever before.
If your wanting a Rio a lot of areas have opened that where only available to limited license holders in the past, these turkey populations are becoming a problem to some land owners and as you may know we have a late season hunt available also in some eastern areas.
As far as a best time to hunt turkeys.... the whole season of course, later in the season gobblers are less henned up.
Good luck in your pursuit.
