Default Long Beard sheels and Kicks Choke

I have a Browning Gold Inv. Plus and Kicks 665 and use 3 inch shells. Any on have any experience with that combo using LB. Just want to try and save myself a little money.
Thanks

My full works great in my gold with number 6 copper, no need for extra chokes

See no reason why that combo would not work well with #4, #5 or #6 shot. Suggest you pattern at 20-30-40 yards and go with what appears to be the best. Any 3" "turkey" load is going to sling plenty enough pellets and should will be a killer out to 35-40 yards, with ease. Just need to find the one that has the best pattern. Good luck.

I ended up calling Kicks and they recommended 6 shot. I shot it this last weekend. At 20 yards a tennis ball size hole. 30 yards good pattern didn't count. At 40 yards 206 pellets in a 10 inch circle. Not bad. I get 320 with my Nitro's. These are cheaper and you can actually find them to buy.

Really doesn't matter what the "10" circle says. The LB loads are still lead and #6's are really pretty much done after 40 yards. So in other words pretty much any turkey load with 6's will give you a killing pattern out to 35-40 yards..
So why spend all that money on specialty lead loads

Why because they are good out to 50 yards. The Nitros that is.

Ok maybe I should of said why spend the money on win LB XR if your shooting 6's... I'd shoot #5's and stretch it out to 45 yards
