Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Great bird and I was going to ask where in MI you got him and then read you're in Ontario. That tag on him is the same as our 2014 tag!

I also hunt in southern Michigan but the tag I usually get is orange.

Thanks for the comments guys I never thought I would shoot a bird with spurs near this long but I guess you never know. Also and I will likely get a lot of flack for this but I knew from hunting in this area a long time that a couple big toms were hanging around with big hooks so I was holding out hoping to get onto one and when these 3 came in I knew they were the big ones just never figured this big. This area also gets a lot of pressure as just about anyone from the area can get permission so I guess you never know were the big boys can hang out and survive! Also they only gobbled once and yelped the other times to my calls. I actually thought they were hens coming at first until I saw the red heads and the strutter.

Never got one that big myelf. Inch and a half seems to be about the limit on spur length in the areas I hunt. Nice bird by the way
