kansas turkey hunting
 
Im going to southeast kansas turkey hunting the 3rd week of may,can anyone tell me what to expect? I figure the birds might be winding down at this time,but may be down breeding so gobbling good.any info would help.

When I was there the birds seemed way behind so maybe you will hit it just right this year !

While I never hunted any in Kansas I can tell you everything here at least is a good month behind.

heat, bugs, some birds, not the best area of kansas but good luck

I was in south central Kansas a few weeks ago and the birds were way behind then. Saw a group of seven or eight gobblers. I think they were just about to start breaking up

ok.thanks for the info..Everything ive read has said southeast kansas is loaded with birds.Sounds like i should hit it about perfect.Boom.:kt:
