Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default VA Opening Day Gobbler

Got this bird yesterday morning on the opening day of the VA spring season off one of the local Navy bases. Not the biggest bird but I am happy with him. Weighed out at slightly over 18 lbs with a 9 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.

Cheers, Y'all

Great bird my friend!
You and I share the same mentality.... I have never shot anything with a "rack" because I can't eat it.
I shoot any legal turkey that gets within range, because meat is meat, and if it happens to be a beast then great, if not.... it was still a great hunt, and I'll be eatin good!

"not the biggest bird".... looks DELICIOUS to me!
