just found out this afternoon that I will be goin on my first ever guided turkey hunt this weekend:barmy::barmy::barmy: on nwtf conservation land. im EXTREMLY excited!!! ive never been on a guided hunt of any kind before so it should be great fun. wish me luck:):) also any tips?

well i was at a banquet a few weeks ago and one of the guys with the nwtf asked if i wanted to signup to win a guided turkey hunt this spring, so i signed up and turns out i won!!! the nwtf has 500 acres of controlled land in sw missouri im gonna hunt

Ya - sit back and enjoy and do watch and learn and ask questions.

I like you was on two free guided hunts long ago. Very rewarding, especially when the guide and I worked together as I called and he whispered play by play what the turkeys where doing! He wanted to leave and I wanted to stay and stay we did. Fact was I called in and shot a double!
That young man used his natural voice for calling. Was a fun time.

yeah...if im stupid enough to screw up a guided hunt on NWTF land then ive got more problems than previosly anticipated.

yea if that ever happens to me i will find some way to push blame on others..i a slipery lil buger:wink:
