Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

I like a box call, I've got a no name, a NWTF "JAKES, both smaller box calls they have worked for me. Just got a Bass Pro "Redhead REALITY NWTF" boat paddle. Two sided plays sweet entirely different tone each side, can't wait to see, hear it in action!

I have enjoyed both my slate which is an over the counter pot call and my box call. The biggest issue with my box call is it is a long box.. Works great but, just 2 bulky if you ask me.. I have a new pot call on order that is being made up.. I can hardly wait to try it out! It is a double sided call that is small enough to put in and out of my pocket!!

I am also planning on try a wing bone call i have made just to see how it can work..

I try just about every friction call I can get my hands on but hands down the best I have every used for me personally is a Cody World Class slate. The Cody woodsman is a great call as well for a much more reasonable price tag.

Running a high end call and learning to use it correctly does make a difference IMO particularly on some of those older public land turkeys. Yes at times a squeaky car door will call them in but at times sounding exactly like a wild hen makes the difference.
