Might use my fall Turkey gun also savage 24 222/12 with redfield golden 5 star and 50 gr rem psp core lock and 12ga 3" rem 2oz #6 shot Turkey shells. Dad uses valmet 412s 12ga/ 223 Leopold 2-7, 55 he core lock and federall 2oz #6 3" mag.

i'm usin my stevens single shot 12 gauge, full choke, single bead sight, & remington NITRO TURKEY 3 inch buffered magnum #4 shot. not anything fancy but gets the job done.
