Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default At The Range With My New Shotgun

I had time this morning to quickly get to the range with my Remington 11-87 Super Magnum, using a HeviShot turkey choke and HeviShot Magnum Blend ammo. I shot at 30, 40, 50 yds.

At 30 yds I was a little high but a tight pattern, below is the 40yd picture, at 50 yds the pattern was a little more open but was similar to the pattern at 40yds....Also these are small 12" targets, I thought I had turkey targets and the only store open this morning was Wal-Mart and this is all they had

Did you try the jellyhead choke with it? That is the choke that patterned the best in my old 870...wondered what it would be like in the 11-87.

Default pattern tip

I use Christmas wrapping paper, I get the stuff with 1'' grid on back, its sometime hard to find but works perfect for sighting in not only your turkey sniper but any gun.

40 yard target looks good. That will kill a turkey all day.
