Default Gobbling hens?

I went scouting today and had a hen at like 10feet and as she was walking off she tried to gobble. It was cool. Has anyone else of heard of a hen gobbling?

Only ever seen a hen gobble once but I've seen hens strut a few times

Sure have, but not until last year. The bird i killed last year was helped called in by a gobbling hen. She strutted and then gobbled back at the gobbler every time. Sure do wish i had it on video, some don't believe me but I dont care I seen it. Most awsome thing Ive seen in the turkey woods, may never see it again.
